Tasha graduated from Carleton College in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and minors in cognitive science and neuroscience. Before joining the BSNIP2 project, she worked as a project coordinator on a clinical drug trial examining individuals with anger and aggression disorders at the Clinical Neuroscience and Psychopharmacology Research Unit at the University of Chicago.

Her responsibilities on the B-SNIP2 project include recruiting participants, conducting neuropsychological and neurophysiological assessments, serving as a technologist for EEG, eye tracking, and DNA sample collection as well as a secondary operator for MRI scanning.

Rex Dayola, BA

Research Assistant

Rex graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Psychology. Before joining the BSNIP2 project, he worked as a research assistant at the laboratory of Cognition in Second Language Acquisition on an artificial language study that assessed if simplifying lexical input would facilitate learning. Using the dataset of the artificial language study, he conducted a study analyzing the relationship of working memory and second language development.

His responsibilities on the B-SNIP2 project include recruiting participants, conducting neuropsychological and neurophysiological assessments, serving as a technologist for EEG, eye tracking, and DNA sample collection as well as a secondary operator for MRI scanning.

Helen Strnad, BA

Research Assistant

Helen graduated from Carleton College in 2014 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology and Spanish and a minor in neuroscience. She worked most of her time at Carleton in a lab exploring the effects of different hormones on the behavior of rats.

Her responsibilities on the B-SNIP2 project include recruiting participants, conducting neuropsychological and neuropsychological assessments, serving as a technologist for EEG, eye tracking, and DNA sample collection as well as a secondary operator for MRI scanning.
